creepy, cool and skin crawling conspiracy theories

Ahoy ❤La Blog fans❤,

Today I have curated a list of five creepy, cool and skin crawling conspiracy theories that are really awesome. I usually create a list of 10 facts but I have also included a n explanation of the conspiracy theories so I thought the post would be too long.

But if you would like to see a part two of creepy, cool and skin crawling conspiracy theories comment down below.

 Conspiracy theories

  • The Reptilian Elite Popularized by former BBC sports writer David Icke, his theory posits that anyone holding a position of power or influence is actually a blood thirsty, extra-terrestrial, shapeshifting reptile. Since then he has written several books on the topic and not surprisingly been awarded the title “paranoid of the decade”.
  • Fluoride There are only a few countries that fluoridate their water supplies, the United States, the UK, Canada, Australia. Although it is done for health reasons and to prevent tooth decay in the population numerous theorists have generated resistance by claiming that the water fluoridation is all part of a shady mind-control scheme put on either by communists or some insidious elite.
  • Princess Diana While most conspiracy theories are supported by your run of the mill average joes, this one had some serious weight behind it. The father of Dodi Al-Fayed, who was in the car with Diane when their drunken chauffer failed to escape pursuing paparazzi, claimed that the car accident was actually a set up by British Intelligence acting on behalf of the Royal Family. Although the claims were found to be baseless it was all the fuel the conspiracy flame need to keep its fires burning.
  • Shakespeare For years people have suggested the true identity of the world’s greatest author wasn’t really Shakespeare of Stratford. Why? Well, there isn’t a whole lot of biographical information concerning his life which is what led some conspiracy theorists to believe the works were actually written by William Stanley or Francis Bacon

  • The Moon Landing In one of the most popular conspiracy theories of our time proponents argue that the moon landing was actually an elaborate hoax and all the pictures supposedly taken hundreds of thousands of miles away were actually taken in studios right here on Earth.

I hope you like this post and comment down below if you liked this post and if you want me to do a part 2.

The Prophet

Ahoy ❤La Blog fans❤,

I have created a story today and I want you to comment how it should end. I have only written the first art of it and know I am leaving it up to all of you to decide how it ends.

The Prophet

I trudged through the water, my breath heavy. I hit the cave wall as I was looking at what was behind me not what was in front of me. They were out of my sights so hopefully I was out of theirs. The sounds of here shouts were becoming muddled gibberish in the distance. In relief I side my back down the algae lined wall of the cave and sat in the icy water.
Where they gone? Was I safe? Is the chase over? So many questions that I didn’t know the answer to.
Catching my breath was hard to do as the air was thick with moisture. The salt and the cold mixed together stung my bloody nose and my sprained wrist felt like it had a heartbeat of its own. The cuts on my fingers stung in the water and the blood from the slice on my face was dripping into my eyes. My body aced all over and I could have just given up on life then and there, but that would mean giving up on the prophet. I vowed that I wouldn’t and I wanted to keep that promise.

The morning sun was now rising and the raises of new day sun shone into the cave showing me the way out. My legs didn’t move when my mind told them to and hands couldn’t help me up. The cave wall helped me gather the strength by supporting me and together got out.

There was people in the distance along way down the beach. I tried reaching out to them but taking a step without the support of the cave made me collapse and face plant into the sand.

Advantages and disadvantages of technology

Ahoy, ❤La Blog fans❤,

Are you excited to read my first official blog post? I am so excited to write it for you. Now this is a very serious topic, as the world we live in today is being taken over by Technology. I am definitely not saying that this is a bad thing (as I love the smart computers and all the awesome robots being created), but there is always a ‘Dark Side’ to a topic (did you like my Star Wars reference?).

Advantages
Thanks to the internet and mobile technologies, we can communicate with anyone in the world (even if they are some distance away), rather than being limited to people within our reach. This has some great positives for work and home.  There is now increased manufacturing thanks to computers.  This means greater efficiency and less people doing boring repetitive jobs. Many jobs can now be done remotely, thanks to the internet, with many workers being able to work from home or other places.

Modern technology also saves us lots of time.  Whether it’s computer controlled cars driving us to work, washing-machines to do our laundry, or internet banking allowing us to pay by credit card or get cash out from the ATM, all these things make our lives more efficient.  The entertainment industry has experienced an uprising.  Customers now have an incredible choice of movies, shows, games, music, and other entertainment available 24/7, right in their own home.

From the speeds that high computers can perform, to the calculations and questions that would take humans many lifetimes to answer, technology is amazing. Medical breakthroughs, new chemical and astronomy discoveries have all been made due to computers. And finally computer updates mean that many devices and machines now function much more efficiently and use less power; either because they are working at the most efficient rate, or they automatically switch themselves off when you are not using them. This has benefits for the environment as well as being money saving. Technology is amazing and I hope it keeps improving.

Disadvantages
On the other hand technology can be a disadvantage in our lives. Human relations are diminished in the world. Online social networking is increasingly replacing real ‘face-to-face’ ‘one-on-one’ contact, as well as problems such as cyber-bullying and cyber crime. Issues of privacy have become huge, as it becomes difficult to control personal information on the internet.

People are becoming too dependent on technology. So much that many basic services such as hospitals, airports, and road systems can now be hacked.  Humans would be almost helpless if the technology wasn’t the way it is today.

Technology brings with it all sorts of environmental problems. As well as often being made from non-biodegradable materials, most technologies need a power source, which can often mean an increase in electricity usage. Technology is great, but we need to be mindful.

Here is 10 top tips to stay safe on technology.
1. Keep your Technology updated.
2. Install protective software.
3. Choose strong and undetectable passwords.
4. Back up files on a regular basis.
5.  Control other peoples’ access to your technology.
6. Use email and the internet safely.
7.  Use secure connections.
8. Protect sensitive data.
9. Use desktop firewalls.
10. Stay up-to-date.

Over all, technology is great and amazing, but we juts need to keep track of it.

Acting Review ‘Game On’

The Scene opened at the school lockers. The tension was building from who stole Grace’s password. The arguments were heating up and the gaming was getting serious. There were tears, hurt feelings and so much drama it could sink a battleship.

Ahoy, again ❤La Blog❤ Fans. Today we are reviewing the video ‘Game on’. ‘Game on’ is about a group of early teens and there battle with social media and technology. People’s passwords were stolen and pictures were posted on other people’s sites. Out of this we learnt never joke around with social media. The struggle of technology addiction was addressed, what it can do to your health, people around you, you’re learning, as well as how you can decrease the affect without banning it completely. It also teaches us not to talk, or send pictures to anyone online that you don’t know. This was a video with a message and it was effective in informing people about realistic situations in the world of social media.

Image result for game on black and white

Buuuuuuuttttt. The acting on the other hand wasn’t the best. It lacked enthusiasm, voice tone and the basic skills of acting. The actor’s voices and facial expressions sounded and looked the same when they were sad and happy. It sounded like they were reading a poem because their voices would change key at the exactly the same time in every sentence. At some points you couldn’t tell exactly what they were saying because they were not articulating their mouths and they were not using their eyes to draw the audience in like we were sitting right next to them. Body language is key and what these actors were doing was the opposite of that. Only what they were saying showed us when they were sad or happy, not their whole body.

Here are 10 main rules that I like to follow when acting:

  1. Don’t block the scene and always accept the ideas of others;

     2. Respond positively and quickly to whatever is said to you by others and go along with what they say;

  1. Always keep the focus of the scene clear;
  1. Don’t try to be better than those in your group – work with them;
  1. Don’t deliberately try to make a joke when it is not intended to be funny;
  1. Don’t waver, be confident;
  1. Be different;
  1. Have a go;
  1. Don’t try to outdo yourself; and
  1. When things are not working out, don’t panic, the audience can see it in you.

Using all these rules will improve your acting and develop more skills in improvising and theatre acting. We can learn a lot from this video, whether it be the importance of cyber safety, or the importance of enthusiastic acting. I don’t strongly encourage you to watch this video as it can get boring over time because the actors all speak in monotone. But if you don’t mind wasting a little bit of time, here is the link:
